.'tis the season.

the season of daintily wrapped gifts, midnight shopping and decadent log cakes hath returned, and in the blink of an eye! i still remember the merry cheer of yester year, where casual table conversation, lighthearted humour and roasted turkey epitomized the evening of celebration. the only downside was sheppy and travis didn't quite hit it off (yes, they're both dogs!). my aunt and cousin attributed sheppy's glaring lack of reciprocation to the fact that he'd been brought up to primarily respond to human interaction, which i guess explains why he remains callously indifferent to the enthused, inquisitive sniffs of his canine counterparts during walks as well. poor travis. he must've been majorly bummed, heh.

this year, i decided to get down to some serious festive card-making, but regrettably, i haven't exactly forked out as much time as i'd have preferred in pursuing my aesthetic intents. i'd originally promised myself i'd create approximately 13 cards, but christmas is a mere week away and with evening rendezvous nearly every day, i'm anything but finished. okay, i've done 6 :) above are 2 samples, results of my sporadic experimentation and fickle indecision. and surprisingly, they turned out relatively decent. thank God :)

may time bestow haste upon me and itself pause, to consider my dismal lack of it!
